New Year's Eve in Times Square

January 1, 2010

The famous New Year's Eve Ball atop One Times Square attracted about a million revelers this past December 31st. Broadcast globally to over a billion viewers, the people, lights and energy of the celebration perfectly represent the essence of Times Square.

R. Scott Lewis PE, PC designed the mast and roof mounting for the current New Year's Eve Ball in 2008. The ball has a 12' diameter, double the size of the retired 2000 - 2007 ball. Read more about the ball Here and watch the ball drop Here.
